Lagree

The Lagree Method is a high-intensity, low-impact total body strength training workout designed to use the patented Megaformer. It is great for women and men of all ages and fitness levels and can be easily modified to meet you where you are in your fitness journey. It’s not Pilates—It’s Lagree. These are 2 different methods with 2 entirely different goals. Learn more here.

  • The primary focus is Core, Muscle Strength & Muscle Endurance. The secondary benefits are flexibility, balance and cardiorespiratory health.

  • This method was created by incorporating body building techniques (time under tension, progressive overloading, etc) into a program that is not only effective, but can be done at high intensity without pounding on or damaging joints (anti-inflammatory).

  •  Lagree is slow and controlled to minimize momentum. This is where the muscle endurance is built!

  • Although the exercise movements are slow and controlled (time under tension), the transitions are quick. This creates a circuit training effect, keeping your heart rate up-providing a cardio component to your workout as well.

  • Lagree was created for group classes and is an ever evolving method-which means you always have something new to learn and can be challenged at a new level.
